The Ely City Ladies team played their final home game of the season on Sunday and lost out in injury time.
An amazing crowd of 257 were in attendance to watch a classic game featuring two penalties and a last-minute clincher.
Their opponents, South Lincolnshire Swifts featured top scorer Cody Webb who managed to score all the team's four goals.
Ely had many chances at the start of the match and probably would have been four up except for a superb display by the Swift's goalkeeper.
Ely went into injury time at 3-3 with goals by Amy Lloyd, Kelly Docwra and Danni Youngs but in the 94th minute Cody Webb broke through and scored the winner.
Great game by both sides and a brilliant advert for the women's game.
The last game for the Robinesses is on May 19, away to Willingham Wolves. A draw will ensure a third place finish for the team in what is only their second ever season.
