There were celebrations on Saturday for Ely City Crusaders Whites U15’s team.
They won the Cambridge & District Colts League U-15s Knock-Out Cup.
Ely City Crusaders U15 Whites stormed to a 6-0 win against Cottenham United Red in the Cup Final, held at the Cambridge Stadium, in Trumpington Road, Cambridge.
With little between the sides in the first half - goals from Morgan Holmes and Daniel Cutter gave Ely the half-time lead.
In the second half, goals from Tom Wilmore, Andrzej Krolik, James Seamark and Daniel Cutter with his second of the match, secured the cup victory for Ely.
Captain Evan Cassam lifted the cup for Ely to the delight of team mates, family and supporters.
Ely now turn their concentration back to the league, where they currently sit on top of the U15 Bluebird division with seven games to play.
