Ely City Hockey Club have hosted its annual hockey tournament, with fourteen teams across Cambridgeshire battling it out for the shield and plate.
Organisers have called the tournament "one of the best ever", with Winnington Park Hockey Club winning the tournament shield and Cambridge South's 'C'Horses' snatching the plate.
Held across the weekend from May 20-21, the fourteen teams included five Ely teams, three from Cambridge South Hockey Club, one from Newmarket, one from Cambridge City, one from Wisbech, one from Cheshire and the Old Suttonians from Long Sutton & Spalding.
Matches were held throughout the day and played with great spirit on Saturday and Sunday on the Astro pitches at Ely Outdoor Sports Association and Ely College.

This year's tournament theme was 'Under the Sea', and most teams camped in Ely for the weekend and displayed some "fantastic" costumes at the Saturday night party in the clubhouse.
The sun shone through the weekend, and the Old Suttonians' inflatable lobster and shrimp costumes even made an appearance on the pitch on Sunday, with a first-ever goal being scored by a lobster in one game.
