Ely City Hockey Club have marked the end of a successful 2022/2023 season with their annual awards dinner.
Boasting three men's and three ladies' sides, a plethora of prizes were awarded to several players at the Ely Outdoor Sports Association Clubhouse on April 29.
Despite none of the teams gaining promotion this year, a spokesperson for the club said: "It was a really good year for all teams."
The newly promoted Mens 1s played in the East Region Hockey League Division 2 North West this year following a fine season in the third division last year and finished an impressive fifth place out of 12 teams.
The Ladies 1s finished joint third and matched their finish from last season, narrowly missing out on the promotion places.
The Men's 2s finished third in their division, and Men's 3s placed fifth following their promotion last year.
The Ladies 2s finished third and the 3s tenth in their respective leagues.
