Ely Squash Club has enjoyed one of its most successful seasons following the recent promotion of its squash teams.
The Men's first and second teams both celebrated promotion-clinching seasons, with the first team winning Division Two of the Cambridgeshire Squash Leagues and the second team winning Division Four.
Having been runners-up last year, this is the first time the Ely Squash Club's first team has made it to Division One, which they secured by winning 14 of their 16 league matches to finish on 267 points.
The club's director, Greg Mitchell, said: "It is an excellent achievement for both teams, especially the second team, which was only formed at the start of the season.
"Best of luck to both teams next season."
The second team won their league, having won 14 of their 18 matches, and will now compete in Division Three next season.
Many club members helped support the team throughout the season when players were injured and unavailable as part of a collective team effort.
The club will continue to play in the summer with 12 internal leagues and annual club tournaments arranged.
