A tennis coach hopes competing at international level will help his players develop even further to reach a similar stage.
Sebastien Scaux, head coach of 10is Academy in Ely, has been playing in the over 45 category at the ITF Individual World Championships in Antalya, Turkey during the last week.
Having been knocked out of the singles competition, Sebastien has reached the last 16 of the doubles which boasts 32 teams.
“I believe that competing at the highest level possible will help me provide better support to our players," he said.
"But the focus isn't on producing high level competitors; the goal is to create a positive and enjoyable learning environment for our players.”
A spokesperson for 10is Academy praised Sebastien’s efforts to inspire his players to reach their full potential through competing as highly as possible.
“His positive attitude and realistic outlook on his performance demonstrate his commitment to the sport and his desire to continually improve,” the spokesperson said.
“His willingness to learn and improve sets a valuable example for his players.”
