10is Academy Ely have triumphed against Newmarket to clinch promotion and win the Cambridgeshire Winter tennis league in an exciting finale to the season
10is Academy travelled to table toppers Newmarket Lawn Tennis Club (LTC), who had won all their previous matches, needing a win to secure promotion to the next division.
Starting in third position, from the very start of the match, the 10is academy showed dominance on the court, with a solid 8/0 win in their favour.
The players demonstrated excellent skills, determination, and teamwork, which proved too much for Newmarket LTC to handle.
The win marks the second league title of the winter season for 10is academy, with the men's 2s also winning their league.
