The 10is Academy is celebrating another fantastic week at the tennis club full of several victories, experiences and a crucial win for the men's 1s in their promotion bid.

The men's 1s put in a solid performance to win in straight sets on February 22 and set up a final match against top-of-the-league Newmarket Lawn Tennis Club.

A win in the final match would mean promotion to the next division.

In addition to the men's 1s victory, the 10 and Under team also secured a national league division 1 win away at David Lloyds Cambridge, showing great skill and spirit to earn the win.

Off the court, the 10is Academy had some "incredible" experiences with a few tennis legends.

Head coach Sebastien Scaux had the opportunity to meet Tim Henman at the National Tennis Centre, where they discussed coaching and training methods and shared insights into the future of tennis.

Meanwhile, some of the club's young players had a chance to hit with Marcus Willis, a former Wimbledon player.

A spokesperson at the club said: "The experience was a fantastic opportunity for the young players to learn from one of the sport's most inspiring figures."
