It was a humbling day for Ely City, while Soham Town Rangers also tasted defeat in the Eastern Counties Premier Division.
The Robins were thrashed 8-0 by Harleston Town on January 7, the visitors scoring four in each half to secure all three points at the Demcom Stadium.
That defeat was Ely’s fifth straight home reverse in all competitions stretching back to October, having kicked off 2023 with victory at Haverhill Rovers the week before.
Soham, who sit a place below City in the league table in 13th, lost 3-1 at Kirkley & Pakefield.
Ollie Ward scored a second half consolation for the Greens, who saw defender Jordan Gent sent off in Suffolk.
On January 14, Ely will seek a second win in three weeks and a fifth away win in all competitions when they go to Mildenhall Town.
Meanwhile, Soham welcome Mulbarton Wanderers to Julius Martin Lane, both games kicking off at 3pm.
