Anticipation is building for the Boxing Day derby clash, dubbed the Fenclassico, between Ely City Football Club and Soham Town Rangers.
Ely will welcome Soham to the Demcom Stadium for an 11am kick-off in what will be the third time the sides will have come up against each other this season.
In the reverse Thurlow Nunn Premier Division League fixture earlier this season, Ely snatched a 2-1 away victory at Soham, but it was Soham who came out on top in the cup with a 1-0 home victory.
Both sides currently sit in the bottom half of the table and, weather permitting, will hope to claim the bragging rights and progress further up the standings after a brief period without football due to frozen pitches.
A win for Soham would help the thirteenth-placed Rangers leapfrog Ely in the table, who currently sit in eleventh place, with one point separating the sides.
However, Ely have three games-in-hand on Soham, and a win in cold and blistery conditions would help give the side a welcome four-point cushion heading into the New Year.
