As November draws to a close and we welcome in December, East Cambridgeshire residents are preparing for their local Christmas lights to be switched on.
Here's where and when the events are taking place:
Ely
The Big Christmas Tree Lights Switch-on Service at Ely Cathedral - December 8 at 5.15pm
“Come and enjoy the biggest, most spectacular, Christmas tree in Ely as we count down to the switching on of the lights,” said a spokesperson for Ely Cathedral.
“This popular family event celebrates the festive season in song and prayer, concluding with the blessing of the magnificent tree.”
No tickets required.
