A theatre group is bringing a comedy favourite to a local stage.
The Campaign Amateur Theatre is set to perform Spamalot at the Maltings in Ely, following last year’s successful production of Bugsy Malone.
The show is based on the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail and follows the amusing adventures of King Arthur and his tap-dancing knights as they search for the Holy Grail.
The audience can expect encounters with quirky Finnish villagers, comically rude Frenchmen, and a plethora of dancing plague victims.
A standout performance is expected from the Lady of the Lake character, known for her diva-like antics.
The production is set to showcase a wealth of local talent and will be accompanied by a 10-piece orchestra.
Spamalot will run from November 14 to November 17, offering audiences an evening of laughter and entertainment.
Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased at ticketsource.co.uk/campaign-amateur-theatre.
With promises of delightful comedy and memorable tunes, the show aims to provide an unforgettable night out for all ages.
