A police tent is currently up in an Ely garden as investigations continue following the discovery of a human bone more than one week ago.
Police made the initial discovery on September 24 with reports that a bone had been found in a garden in John Anmer Close, off Lynn Road.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary has confirmed today (October 3) that they are still on site, and the Ely Standard now understands that an investigation is taking place at an adjacent property.

A local resident said that "police seem to be investigating two gardens next to each other and there is police tape in both and a tent up in the neighbouring property," however this has not been confirmed by police.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: "There have been no developments and we are still awaiting the results of further tests on the bone.
"There is still a police presence at the scene and investigations continue."
