A primary school football tournament featuring 94 boys from eight schools took place in Ely last week.
The event, organised by Active Play Education, saw 10 teams compete on the all-weather pitch at Ely Outdoor Sports Association.
Seven young leaders from Ely College helped with refereeing and running the tournament.
The teams were from Fordham, Isle of Ely, Mepal & Witcham, Robert Arkenstall, St John's Ely, St Mary's Ely, The Rackham, and Wilburton Primary Schools.
Fordham, Robert Arkenstall, St John's Ely, and Wilburton reached the semi-finals, with Fordham emerging as the overall winners after defeating St John's Ely in the final.
Fordham was presented with medals and the tournament cup.
A player from each team was also awarded a Player of the Tournament medal for showing great sportsmanship and teamwork.
Laurence Maskell of Active Play Education said: "It has been great to see so many boys playing football in the fresh air and enjoying themselves.
"The standard of play has been excellent but more importantly the team spirit and gamesman ship with which they all played was wonderful to see."
