The team at Prickwillow Engine Museum, near Ely, recently celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Mirrlees Diesel Engine being installed at the museum.
In 1924, the Mirrlees five cylinder diesel engine was installed in Ely, and 100 years on many people came to see it in action once again.
To celebrate, a special birthday cake with a '100' sign and a photo of the Mirrlees was brought out to mark the occasion.
Relatives of some of the original Mirrlees drivers returned to the museum for the special day, as well as some of the drivers themselves, including Patrick Cox and John Setchfield.
John climbed up onto the platform and gave the Mirrlees a run, proving that he had not forgotten how to do it.
Other engines at the museum were ran, and various models were put on display as well as photographs of the pumping station before it turned into the museum.
Ely's deputy mayor Cllr Mike Banyard and his wife Helen also paid a visit to the museum and helped out with a raffle.
