A viral TikTok trend has inspired an Ely retail village's new marketing campaign.
The script and style of Ben's Yard quirky new video - designed by, and for, Gen Z - is already proving popular on social media.
Founders Victoria and Alastair Morbey, whose children fall in the age group, came up with the concept after they saw the trend online.
"With Gen Z rapidly becoming one of the most influential consumer groups, Ben’s Yard recognised the importance of speaking their language, both literally and figuratively," said a spokesperson for the company.
“Gen Z values authenticity and experiences,” added the Morbeys.
“By involving their voices in the creation of this campaign, we’re not just showcasing what we have to offer, we’re also aligning with their values — whether that’s spending quality time with family or enjoying unique, mindful experiences.”
"By tapping into the digital-savvy mindset of Gen Z, Ben’s Yard aims to establish itself as a destination where people of all ages can come together, particularly drawing in a younger audience that is looking for more than just a shopping trip," added the Ben's Yard spokesperson.
