A cyclist has been hospitalised after he was involved in a crash with a car on Lynn Road in Ely.
On August 24 at around 6:30pm, the cyclist was in a crash with a grey car on Lynn Road, heading towards Cambridge Road.
The driver of the car, a white man, initially stopped at the scene. However, he then left the scene without providing his details or reporting what happened.
Paramedics were sent to the scene and the cyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries. He remains in hospital.
Anyone who witnessed what happened, or who has information, should call 101 and ask to speak to Det Sgt Shona Birkby from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
