A 70-year-old man died in an industrial accident near Ely, an inquest opening revealed.
Christopher Eagling died in the incident which happened at a location in Stretham Road, Wicken, on July 8.
The Health and Safety Executive has confirmed it is leading an investigation into the matter.
Mr Eagling's inquest was opened on Thursday (August 29) at Peterborough Town Hall.

Simon Milburn, an area coroner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, explained a paramedic confirmed Mr Eagling’s death at the location.
Mr Milburn said: “This case has been adjourned pending the ongoing Health and Safety Executive investigations.”
The Health and Safety Executive explained there was an initial joint investigation with the police – but it was handed primacy on August 13.
It aims to have the majority of investigations concluded within 12 months.
