A car caught fire after it was involved in a crash on the A142 near Wentworth yesterday (August 21).
Police were called to the scene at around 5.30pm with reports of a collision between two vehicles with one on fire.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Emergency services attended – no injuries reported and no arrests made.
"The fire was extinguished and the road cleared.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service added: "A crew from Ely was called to a car fire on the A142 near Wentworth.
"Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire and used hose reels to extinguish the fire.
"Crews returned to their station by 7.22pm."
