Police have launched an appeal to find a woman who went missing on Saturday afternoon.

Katherine left her home in Waterbeach at about 2pm on Saturday (August 10) and the car she was driving has since been found in the area of Stetchworth Park.

Police are concerned for her welfare and say that her disappearance is out of character and extensive searches have so far not found her.

Katherine is 48, medium to large build, with long brown straight hair. She is believed to have been wearing black jeans and a black vest top.
