An Ely-based artist is showcasing his work, having used art as a lifeline through long-term anxiety, agoraphobia, and depression.
Paul Jefford, who only began using chalk pastels a few years ago, is the featured artist at Cambridgeshire Expressive Arts and Counselling Centre's (CEAACC) 'Revolving Gallery', from June to September 1.
CEAACC, a not-for-profit counselling and therapy centre based in Ely, also provides a gallery platform for artists.
Often, these artists have a personal mental health connection.

The centre opened in 2017 and has provided therapeutic support to more than 4000 individuals and families since.
Mr Jefford’s unique journey offers motivation to many.
His art exhibition 'Take a Moment' is viewable by appointment but will also include a free public open house event on Sunday, August 18, from 2-5pm.
Attendees are invited to enjoy cream teas and refreshments, a tour through his art, and a chance to talk with the artist personally.
To book an appointment, contact CEAACC at CEAACCenquiries@mail.com, or call 01353 664845.
Further information can be found on Facebook and on the CEAACC website.
