A blind man from Littleport raised £600 for a cause close to his heart by completing a skydive.
Daredevil Mick Bennett, who completed the challenge on Friday July 12, has so far has raised almost £600 for the Guide Dogs charity.
The tandem parachute jump happened at the North London Skydiving Centre airfield at Wimblington with his ground crew, wife Chris and guide dog Usher in encouraging attendance.
Mick said afterwards: “I wanted to raise money so another blind person can have a guide dog.
“Usher has changed my life and given me confidence to go out.
“He has given me my eyes.”
Mick’s next stunt will be a blind drive at the Everyman Centre in Loughborough supported by Ablenet on August 21.
