A 64-year-old man from Ely has been sentenced after admitting to three charges of making indecent images of a child.
Gary Hall, of Barton Road, Ely, pleaded guilty to making five Category A, one Category B and one Category C images.
Category A is the most severe in nature.
All three charges of making “indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child” are listed to have happened between April 19, 2020 and October 20, 2020 in Ely.
Hall entered guilty pleas when he first appeared in court on May 9, 2024.
At Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (July 4), he was handed a £830 fine and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £114 victim surcharge.
Hall was given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, a Community Order and a Forfeiture and Destruction Order.
He is also required to register with the police for five years.
