Charlotte Cane has been elected as the Liberal Democrat MP for Ely and East Cambridgeshire in a shocking defeat for Lucy Frazer.
She received 17,127 votes with a majority of just 495. Lucy Frazer received 16,632.
Labour's Elizabeth McWilliams came third on 9,160 votes, while Ryan Coogan from Reform UK received 6,443 votes.
The exit poll predicted the constituency was too close to call, with a 51 per cent chance of a Liberal Democrat gain and 49 per cent of a Tory hold
Andy Cogan from the Green Party received 2,359 votes and Hoo Ray Henry received 271 votes.
Roberty Bayley of the Social Democratic Party received 171 votes, while independent candidates Obi Monye and Rob Rawlins received 103 and 102 votes respectively.
