A repair cafe is offering free assistance to fix faulty household items, as part of an eco-friendly event.
Ely Repair Cafe will be stationed at the Ely Cathedral Conference Centre on July 27, between 11am and 2pm, during the Ely Cathedral Green Fair.
The operation encourages people to mend items such as electronics, textiles or toys, instead of discarding them.
Skilled volunteers will perform the repairs at no cost.
Although not mandatory, pre-booking is recommended.
