Haddenham Beer Festival starts this weekend, with live music, food, family-friendly events and lots of great beers to taste over the weekend.

Taking place on the village recreation ground, the festival starts at 5pm today with The Routine followed by hedline act HALO.

Food will be available from Papa's Loaded Fries, All Dough Pizza and there's also the festival's own BBQ.  

After an 11pm finish, the action will resume at 12 noon tomorrow, with lots of bands and artists performing throughout the day until 11.30pm.

Sonic Machine headline, supported by The Casuals, and there will also be sets from Special Groove, The Frisson Syndicate, Ramshackle Daddies and Steve Spall. 

That's not all, though, as there will be stalls from loads of local groups, bouncy castles, face painting and kids entertainment across the site. 

There will be a BBQ, Thai, Loaded Fries, Caribbean, pizza, donuts and ice creams, too, plus Jim's Baps will be on the bar.

Sunday is comparatively relaxed, running from 12-6pm, with free entry and loads of drinks, food and music. 

There will be best kids entertainment from Miraiker as well as stalls offering crafts and other wares for sale. 

The day will begin with a rousing performance from the Waterbeach Brass Band.
