The Wilburton Beer Festival is set to take place this weekend.

The event brings together the community of Wilburton and the surrounding villages and towns to celebrate the joys of summer with family friendly fun and delicious food and drinks from the local area.

The event is set to be held on the 'Piece' recreation field on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22, surrounded by a grove of ancient oaks.

All profits will go to local charities and good causes.

Children enjoy all-day wristband access on both days to a number of bouncy-fun rides, as well as face-painting, henna, braiding and football games.

Top-rank local bands will set the mood, including The Casuals and Blue Thunder who will headline the event on Friday and Saturday.

Meanwhile, food will be available from a number of handpicked vendors, including Pizza Passione, Al Chile Mexican Street Food, Zapiekanki Polish Street food, Scotties Scotch eggs, Ely Scout Group BBQ and Chilli, Pimp My Fish, and Verrecchia Ice Cream.

A number of popular local breweries will also be attending, with Buntington, Downham Isle, IVO, Lord Conrads, Miletree, Milton, Moonshine, and Three Blindmice offering a selection of products.
