Littleport Royal British Legion organised a lighting of the Littleport beacon to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
The ceremony was attended by senior members of the fire service and members of the town council.
Afterwards, Kathryn Buck entertained with tuneful renditions of wartime favourites including ‘Kiss Me Goodnight Sergeant Major’.
The 40’s quiz was won by chair of the Littleport RBL, Martin Goodearl, and his team.
