A poignant beacon lighting ceremony took place in Ely on Thursday evening (June 6) to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
Among those in attendance were bugler Laurine Green and Reverend Alan Jesson, chaplain of Ely Royal British Legion.
Ellee Seymour also attended with the city branch of the Royal British Legion and took several photos.
