Rev Dr Leslie Griffiths, Lord Griffiths of Burry Port, will be giving a talk in Ely Methodist Church on June 13 at 7.30pm

The talk was arranged to mark the 250th Anniversary of John Wesley's visit to the city of Ely.

Previously, Rev Dr Griffiths worked in Haiti as a Methodist Minister and helped organise the elections there after which he became chair of Christian Aid.

He has frequently spoken on radio and will be addressing the Methodist Church on The future of the House of Lords.
