Ely City Women's Institute (ECWI) is celebrating 40 years of establishment.
Members have been busy marking the occasion with bright and colourful 'craft bombs'.
One of the displays can be viewed outside Sessions House in Lynn Road with a more detailed exhibit hosted at Ely Library.
A spokesperson for Ely City Women's Institute said: "We are really excited to be marking our anniversary.
"Our membership is going from strength to strength and as the largest voluntary women’s organisation in the country, ECWI is definitely something to be proud of.
"Over the coming months we will be marking our Ruby Anniversary and look forward to reminiscing with old friends and welcoming new ones."
Open to women over the age of 18 and from all walks of life, ECWI has a full and varied programme planned.
Members can enjoy access to 11 main meetings a year, all of the sub-groups, private social media groups and eight copies of the WI magazine ‘WI Life’.
ECWI meets at Bishop Laney Sixth Form, Downham Road, CB6 2SH on the second Monday of each month, starting at 7.00pm until 9.00pm.
The next open meeting will be on July 8.
