An inter-school hockey tournament was held in East Cambridgeshire.
The Quick Sticks event was organised by the Active Play Education group and took place on May 10 and was for youngsters in Years 5/6.
Five teams from Fordham Primary School, Isle of Ely Primary School and Littleport Community Primary School took part in the year which was held on the astro pitch at Ely Outdoor Sports Association
The teams played 15-minute games against each other.
Laurence Maskell of ActivePlay Education said: "Every single player played really well and showed some fantastic skills.
"Despite the heat, they all gave it everything and they should all be very proud of themselves."
The winners of the tournament were Fordham Primary School 1s and the runners-up were Isle of Ely Primary School.
Player of the Tournament medals were also given to one person from each team who showed real sportsmanship and teamwork during the tournament.
"This tournament was the first of a number of tournaments we are going to be organising this term and throughout the next academic year covering a range of sports for all the primary schools within the East Cambridgeshire District," added Julia Gilbert from ActivePlay Education.
