Ajay Tegala will share his passion for the natural world and talk about his new book Wetland Diaries at an event organised by Toppings Bookshop in Ely.

Wetland Diaries is a seasonal account of ranger life on Wicken Fen and how a once widespread landscape was saved - revealing the spectrum of emotions experienced in the process.

Ajay shares the spirit and atmosphere of the Fens, offering an insight into the privileges and pressures of managing semi-wild animals in one of the country's first wetland restoration projects, creating precious breathing space for nature and people alike.

The event takes place at the Methodist Church in Chapel Street, Ely, on Monday, May 20. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
