Cambridgeshire Constabulary is holding two free bike-marking events on Wednesday May 29.
The first is at Ely Railway Station, between 10am and 12pm, and the second at the Burwell Recreation Ground, between 2pm and 3.30pm.
A police spokesperson said: "Bike marking is free and not only deters thieves but also boosts the chances of your bike being recovered should it be stolen."
