A drug dealer who was arrested on Christmas Day claimed his stash of cocaine was for him and his friends to enjoy over the festivities.
But detectives were able to prove otherwise after discovering two mobile phones linking him to drug dealing and two fake identity documents.
Officers were called to reports of concern at a property in Soham Road, Stuntney, during the afternoon of Christmas Day 2023.
Fatjon Gjeshnika, 42, was found with the cocaine and at Cambridge Crown Court on Thursday (April 11) was sentenced to four years and three months in prison.
At the hearing, Gjeshnika, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and two counts of possession of identity documents with intent.
PC Rachel Thomas, who investigated, said: “We’re committed to putting those who deal drugs before the courts.
“I hope this sentence will send out a clear message that those involved in these activities will be pursued and brought to justice.”
