An Ely man is gearing up for a six-hour 50km run to raise money for a charity that's close to his heart.
Dan Regan will take part in the Zig Zag running challenge in Huntingdon next month in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The 49-year-old, who lives with his wife and two daughters and works in Ely as a full-time hypnotherapist, said: "Macmillan is a cause that's very close to my heart.
"They provided help and support when my dad had cancer (it would have been his birthday earlier this month).
"More recently, they have been there whilst another close family member has gone through cancer treatment.
"Macmillan is an awesome charity doing great work, so I'm hoping to raise as much as I can for them."
