Pop artist Jessie Ware has been announced as the Friday night headliner of The Cambridge Club 2024.
Over the past decade, Jessie Ware has built up a dedicated following due to her striking voice, captivating on-stage presence, and a strong alignment with dance music owing to various collaborations with Bicep, SBTRKT and Disclosure.
With a string of hits behind her including Free Yourself, Say you love me, and Freak me now, Jessie Ware’s rise into the mainstream began after the club-ready sounds of What’s Your Pleasure? won her an even bigger legion of fans following the album release in 2020.
The pop artist returned three years later with the soul-infused That! Feels Good!
The top-three charting album earned Ware the best reviews of her career, her second Mercury Music Prize nomination, and a series of sold-out shows.
Inspired by Earth, Wind & Fire, Grace Jones, Prince, Donna Summer and Diana Ross, festival goers can look forward to joyful, 70s-inspired grooves to sassy, contemporised disco beats.
Tickets to the festival, which takes place from June 7-9, are available online.
