A pub in Soham is opening up as a warm space on Friday mornings throughout winter.
The Cherry Tree will welcome anyone through its doors for a free cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake from 10am to 11.45am.
Kyle Belton, of The Cherry Tree, said: "We serve a large number of the senior community and have been told its a massive lifeline for them as a place to get a warm meal and interact with people.
"As we understand times are difficult, we have decided to try and help as much as we can.
"We wont be serving any other food or drinks at this time," he said.
Many of the "fantastic team" have offered to come in their free time to serve and help out when they can, he added.
"We have even had messages from people in the community offering to bring in homemade cakes for us to give to people.
"If you know anyone who could benefit from this, please let them know."
