Pudsey ears and spotty accessories helped students at King’s Ely to raise £1,300 for BBC Children in Need.
The school’s acremont nursery, pre-prep and prep went all out to mark the occasion, which took place on Friday, November 17 this year.
Children and staff grabbed their Pudsey ears and donned their spottiest accessories to raise money and awareness for the annual campaign.
At prep, cake and lollipop sales were held in the years three to eight playgrounds at morning breaktime and pupils and staff were also able to wear the most colourful attire and accessories that they could find in return for a small donation.
A spokesperson for King’s Ely said: “There’s still a few pennies and pounds to come in, but we can confirm that we are well on the way to reaching a whopping £1,300.
“Thank you to every single person who baked, donated and made that last minute dash to the supermarket for Pudsey accessories!
“Thank you to families’ ever-shining generosity, a fabulous £274 was raised in donations.”
