A Post Office in an East Cambridgeshire village is to shut next year.
The announcement surrounding the Sutton branch, which is located in One Stop's High Street store follows rumours of closure on social media.
A One Stop spokesperson said: “Unfortunately, due to a significant decrease in demand, the Post Office inside our High Street, Sutton One Stop store will be closing.
“We will, however, be opening a Drop and Collect service around the same time as the closure to allow customers to benefit from parcel and bill payment services.
“This has been a difficult decision, however we believe that our customers’ needs will be met through the new offer. This change will take place next year."
