Classic fairy tale Hansel & Gretel is heading to Cambridge Junction for this year's family Christmas show.
The show is presented by New International Encounter (NIE), and will feature a blend of live music, clowning and storytelling - transforming the theatre into a magical winter wonderland.
Alex Byrne, artistic director at NIE, said: "We are really excited to be back at Cambridge Junction for a new Christmas show - we have had so many great experiences here taking a new look at some classic fairy tales.
"Hansel & Gretel will be full of live music and festive fun, some lovely songs, a frozen forest, and a tiny gingerbread cottage.
"It’s a classic story that everyone knows and we can’t wait to bring to life in joyfully, quirky fashion…"
Following the success of a similar campaign last year, Cambridge Junction is seeking support to ensure as many people as possible can attend the show through its funded ticket scheme.
The scheme welcomes hundreds of people into the venue each year, including young carers, refugee families, children in care, young people with disabilities and food bank users.
Cambridge Junction can offer the scheme thanks to additional support from businesses and individuals.
Artistic director Matt Burman said: "Our Christmas show is often a young person's first experience of the theatre and it is so important that we can welcome as many people to Hansel & Gretel as possible.
"Our funded ticket scheme which our audiences and patrons so generously support each year will allow us to engage with at least 500 people who might not otherwise have been able to attend."
A £15 donation can buy a child a theatre trip and an ice-cream.

The run of Hansel & Gretel will include a BSL (British Sign Language) interpreted performance on December 17, and relaxed performances suitable for people with autism or learning disabilities throughout the run.
Performances are suitable for ages five plus and run from Wednesday, December 6 to Sunday, December 31.
