Volunteers at Nellie's Community Cafe in Sutton hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning and raised more than £700.
The event took place on September 29 at the cafe in Scott Court. Those attending enjoyed home made cakes and sandwiches. There was also a book stall, tombola and three raffles.
Volunteer Liz Thrussel said: “It was lovely to see so many people come along from the village to support such a great event as the Macmillan Coffee Morning which is now an annual feature of the Nellie's calendar."
The event raised £750. The Nellie's team have said they would like to thank everyone who attended, donated cakes, books or prizes and those who helped on the day.
Nellie's Community Cafe is held on the secoond Wednesday and last Friday of each month at Scott Court, in Pound Lane, Sutton, from 10am - 2pm.
