Season six of Ely Hero Awards will soon be here and the team is excitedly preparing for the glitzy black-tie event.
Luke Smith, co- organiser of the event, which takes place at The Maltings from 6.30pm on Wednesday September 20, said: "We are super excited to celebrate all that is good in our community and meet individuals that inspire and encourage others.
"The event brings a lot of joy to others. It's a wonderful evening filled with glitz, glamour and emotion.
"A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to make our guests feel very special and the team can't wait to meet everyone."
A Judging panel has whittled the hundreds of nominations down to three finalists for each of the 10 categories.
The big reveal will happen on the night when winners will be announced by local business sponsors.
Local radio presenter Sue Marchant will host the event and the Office of the Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire will also be in attendance.
A raffle will be held for Prospect Trust, the 2023 Ely Hero Awards Charity of the Year.
