An investigation has been launched to determine the most likely cause of a serious fire which started on Monday morning (August 14) at Indian Garden 2 restaurant in Fordham near Soham.
40 firefighters were called to the restaurant in Church Street at around 6am and crews from Cambridge, Cottenham, Burwell, Sawston, along with the four appliances from Suffolk attended the incident.
The road was closed for some time whilst the fire service made sure the blaze was out and under control, and they confirmed that two people were treated for smoke inhilation.
