A new restaurant will open in Cambridge next week and, to celebrate, 300 British Wagyu steaks - each worth £22 - are being given away.
To mark the launch of Flat Iron, which officially opens in Market Street on Monday July 24, hundreds of steaks will be given away from 5.30pm onwards on Wednesday July 26, on a first come, first served basis.
Head of beef Fred Smith said: "We’re absolutely thrilled to be sharing some of the most exciting British beef I've come across.
"This wagyu is sourced from our friends in Yorkshire and we’re looking forward to serving you some of our favourite cuts. See you on July 26."
The two-floor Cambridge restaurant is housed in a Victorian building near Market Square, Great St Mary’s Church, and a number of college buildings.
