A drug dealer caught with 35 bags of cocaine hidden in a cold and flu packet has been jailed.
Leonard Seferi was pulled over by police in his Volkswagen Golf on Elizabeth Way, Cambridge, on 17 May after he was spotted on his mobile phone.
After the vehicle stopped, officers noticed the 27-year-old was attempting to reset his mobile phone.
They also found 35 bags of cocaine, worth more than £1,850, hidden in a paracetamol packet and a second sim card in his pocket.
At Peterborough Crown Court, Seferi, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison after previously pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine, driving without a licence and insurance and using a mobile phone while driving.
Detective Constable Rebecca Claydon, who investigated, said: “We will continue to target people who come into our county to deal drugs.
“Drugs bring misery and violence to our communities and we urge members of the public to continue reporting information to us.”
