A coroner has opened an inquest into the death of a motorcyclist who died in a collision along a rural Fenland road.
Brian Dewey, from Little Thetford, near Ely, was involved in a two vehicle collision along the B1098 at Sixteen Foot Bank, in Stonea.
The incident happened on June 3.
Simon Milburn, the area coroner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, said the 73-year-old died at the scene during the inquest opening at Peterborough Town Hall yesterday (June 13).
He said: “The cause of death currently remains unascertained [and is] pending further investigations.”
Mr Milburn then adjourned the case for a future date to be announced.
