Cambridgeshire Police have found a missing man in his 70s from East Cambridgeshire alive with minor injuries in a ditch in Litte Downham.
With the assistance of the police helicopter and police drones, the search team combed through the Little Downham area on Friday, May 12.
Thankfully, within just a few hours of being reported missing, the team discovered the man alive in a nearby ditch.
The team continued working together, helping the man safely out of the ditch so he could be checked over by the ambulance service and reunited with his family.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: "This heart-warming outcome is just one example of the extraordinary lengths our officers will go to ensure the safety of our community.
