Maddison Bourn, a member of the Ely Roller Skating Club (ERSC), has been invited to the Team GB artistic squad for the World Skate International Series.
Despite the impressive call-up, Maddison, unfortunately, cannot take time out from her GCSE studies to compete this time.
Alice Figgins, Chair of ERSC, said: "We are so proud that Maddison was invited and know she will go on to achieve her goals both at school and in skating."
Maddison was selected by GB Skate Artistic as one of the top three medallists in the 2022 Championships to represent Great Britain at a prestigious international event.
The semi-finals of the World Skate International Series, the Youth Ladies Solo Dance, take place in Asuncion, Paraguay and Trieste, Italy, from May to September.
