Ely Tennis Club have launched inclusive Walking Tennis activity sessions to give the community a chance to play tennis in a welcoming environment.
Walking Tennis is part of the tennis club's goals to give the community an opportunity to play, whatever their age or ability.
The tennis is played indoors at a gentler place suitable for everyone, with sessions featuring competitive games and a practical tennis experience lasting one hour, followed by coffee, cake provided by Peacocks tearoom and a chat.
A spokesperson for Ely Tennis Cub said: "We discovered that walking tennis is infinitely adaptable.
"We've adapted to include a double amputee player learning the game on blades and with limited hand function.
"We have players with disabilities, a few recovering from injury, and it has provided a lift to some who needed a mental health boost.
"A perfect way to take a break from everyday life."
Sessions are held at the Hive Leisure Centre and will run until March 2023.
